- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Worst experience EVER! My husband went in for a broken heel, and they kept him for 3 days before he saw an ortho. My husband has a heart condition that he has known about for 13 years, and they wanted to clear him for surgery on his foot when it was NOT even necessary! The walker they gave my husband to use was way small for him and no one even helped him with it. They sent the Financial Counselor to see him on the 3rd day (before the ortho was able to see him) and gave us the bill for almost 19k for the hospital ONLY. My husband became upset. The experienced nurses were able to deescalate the situation, but the others really made things worse for us when all we wanted was for them to explain things so we knew what was going on. I'd rather stay at the Ritz than Physicians Regional. It would be less expensive and I'd be treated with care.
