  Dr Colon did my back fusion in May of 2016. I WAS PLEASED with his work and my back pain went away (and I loved NCH hospital). But after my 6 months check up I developed severe pain on my right side. I made an appointment with Dr Colon at 2:30 pm about 10 days out. On appt day, we closed on our house which ran way longer than we expected and as we drove from Ft Myers to Naples, I could see that we were going to run 5-10-15 minutes late depending on traffic. I called as a courtesy to explain and the office staff told me he would not take me because he runs his patients on time!! We were at Bonita Springs at 2:14. I explained we were driving, what happened and that my appt was necessary because of the new pain. Sorry you'll have to rebook!! I was infuriated as we turned around at Bonita Beach Road. IT IS NOT THE DR'S THAT ACT LIKE THAT. IT IS THE OFFICE STAFF.. I ALWAYS FIND 'LINDA' IN APPTS VERY CONDESCENDING AND CALLS YOU HONEY THREE TIMES IN ONE CALL. I DON'T LIKE IT!!

  All ways professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about the issue the patient has come in to address. My wife and I have seen DR.s Baker, Colon, & Smith for the last ten years. When we arrive it is like family, from the girls at the front to the doctors in back. I do not tolerate laziness and incompetence at any level where my family's health is concerned. See you all soon.
